The Mueller neighborhood of central Austin boasts a ton of great amenities including parks, trails, great farmers’ market, proximity to the Thinkery, etc., and their latest public space will have your kids begging to get rolling on over. A new skate park and cycle pump track is now open as part of the newest phase of the Southeast Greenway. The facility can be found at 3730 Manor Rd. near the intersection of Manor Road and Zach Scott Street. Open to the public, this park invites you to skateboard, ride BMX bikes, or lace up your inline skates.
The Mueller Skate Park offers a small parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking as well. There is a restroom and water fountain, as well as some colorful shade canopies. However, the majority of the park is in full sun, so be sure to pack your sunscreen and plenty of water when you go. (More photos on the Mueller Facebook page.)
The Southeast Greenway is a 28.5-acre park where you can enjoy Mueller’s hike and bike trail, a large open field, a pond, lots of picnic tables and area to play.
We know that many people love Mueller Lake Park and the popular playground across from Thinkery, or the Elizabeth Branch Park with the fun splash pad, but it’s exciting to see more fun spaces like this skate park for parents and kids to enjoy together!
