Have you heard about this fun Nutcracker-inspired show featuring dogs and circus tricks? Circus Chickendog is returning to The Vortex for the 4th year in a row with their production of the Mutt-Cracker (Sweet!). This show brings wacky holiday fun to kids of all ages.

This year’s production follows Clara’s fantasy voyage through circus-themed worlds inhabited by jugglers, dancers, puppets, villains, and six brilliant and talented rescue dogs. Additional highlights include a talking scarlet macaw (Lauren Macaw), a multiple world-record holding juggler (Scott Sorenson), unicycling (Darren Peterson), balancing and ballet, a live jazz piano arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, original songs, and much more.

— Tickets: Tickets are selling out fast for this show! Tickets are $10 for child/student/senior, $20 for adult general admission, and $30 for adult priority admission. Tickets can be purchased online here.

— Concessions: There is an Italian food truck on site as well as a full bar.

— Parking:  Free Parking is available in front of The Vortex. Additional parking is available at Home Steam Cleaners after 6:30pm. Limited street parking is also available near The Vortex. If you wish to take the bus, it is located on Bus Route #20.
