Singin’ In the Rain at Zilker Hillside Theater

Now in its 67th year, Zilker Theatre Productions returns with another summer of free outdoor theater, this year bringing the beloved classic Singin’ in the Rain to the Zilker Hillside Theater.

Pack a picnic, bring blankets or lawn chairs, and settle in for one of Austin’s favorite summer traditions. Performances take place Thursday through Sunday evenings from July 10 through August 15 at 8:15 pm, giving families plenty of time to enjoy a picnic dinner and watch the sun set before the curtain rises. It may be one of the hottest traditions in town, but once the sun starts to go down, there’s nothing quite like spending an evening on the hillside watching live theater under the stars.

Cost:  Free | Donations are always welcome 

What to Bring: You’re invited to bring blankets, picnics, and gather with friends and family to watch an incredible production under the stars. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the concession stand. Chair rentals are available for $5 per chair.
