On Saturday, Jan. 24 you can take the kids roller skating at Playland Skate Center from 10 a.m. – noon. Help raise scholarship funds at the AHB Community School’s Annual Skate Party — which is open to the whole Austin community and all ages are welcome. There will be a baked goods and Taco Deli tacos for sale, too.
Enjoy some family fun on skates and help raise money for scholarships to children to attend this alternative school in Austin. AHB Community School offers a part-time, progressive education for children grades K-8 with a very low student to teacher ratio (9:1), located centrally in the Hyde Park area of Austin.
