Austin-Area Splash Pads

Austin splash pads are officially open for the season, and they’re one of our favorite easy outings for this time of year. These free water play spots are perfect for cooling off, letting the kids run around, and getting out of the house without overplanning your day. Pack a towel, some snacks, maybe a change of clothes, and you’re all set! Splash pads are open May 1 through October 31.

For more info and updates, including which swimming pools are open, visit the City of Austin’s Aquatic Department website.
