North Austin fish & aquarium store, Fish Gallery, is hosting a fun, interactive Summer Reading Program on Thursdays this month — August 6, 13 and 20. Each free event takes place from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., and kids will get to enjoy a story, crafts, games, prizes, snacks, and touch tanks. They are also hosting a free summer party on Thursday, August 20.
Fish Gallery is really cool place to stop in and visit with kids. There are several large tanks to explore filled with both freshwater and saltwater fish. They also have a little Kids Corner with coloring sheets and crayons. And there is a fun dome within one of the tanks that you can pop your head into and see the fish up close!
