On Thursday, Apr. 17 starting at 7:15 pm, join the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department in Old Settlers Park for its annual Flashlight Egg Hunt. Let your flashlight be your guide to candy, eggs and prizes and then stay for a movie in the park featuring the family movie The Rise of the Guardians. Be sure to look for the golden eggs- they can be redeemed for a special prize basket!
Enjoy a beer while you help raise money for local animal rescue groups at Pints for Pups, hosted by the Independence Brewing Company. This family-friendly and dog-friendly event is from 1 – 3 pm this Saturday, April 19.
Our FINAL CLASS in the series will be Saturday, Apr. 12 at 9 am, and will be for moms AND their kids of any age! Get a good workout and set a healthy example at this free and fun class. The third installment of SXSW Interactive’s Create event will be coming to the City Terrace at the Long Center Friday, March 7-Sunday March 8 from 11 am to 6 pm and is FREE and open to the public. That’s right, no badge required!
Looking for a place to bring the kids and pick up some cool comics, art, merch, and even view a shadowcast performance of Dr. Horrible? Then get over to STAPLE! on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre. Now in it’s 10th year, STAPLE! is offering an impressive guest list, awesome vendors (with lots of local artists to support!), live on-site screen-printing, and on Sunday there will be a Kid’s Comics Corner in the Lobby where kids can create their own comics!
