There’s a new-ish food truck court open on Barton Springs Rd. called The Picnic. It’s in the perfect spot for those days when you go swimming at Barton Springs or play around at Zilker Park. You can find seafood po’boys, all natural snow cones, fried chicken and other awesome eats.
A new production from Summer Stock Austin will be at the Long Center July 26 – August 9 inside the Rollins Theatre. Stone Soup, A New Musical is recommended for ages 5 and up, but is something the whole family can enjoy. We have four tickets to give away to the premiere on Saturday, July 26 at 10 am.
Head to Ashley’s Playhouse on Sunday, July 27 for a free Summer Bash from 1 – 5 pm for water fun, a movie and cold treats!
Seeing Oklahoma! at Zilker Hillside Theater is one of the activities on the Austin Summer Fun Checklist for Kids. Every Friday this summer, two awesome venues will be running Snow Cone Happy Hours! What does this mean, exactly? It means mom and dad can hit up a happy hour that the kids will love too.
Sound & Cinema will continue on Tuesday, July 22 at the Long Center with a free screening of “E.T.” and a performance from Henry + the Invisibles. The fun starts around 6 pm and will continue until about 10:30 pm.
