Colorado River Alliance Redbud Center Guided Tours

The Colorado River Alliance is a nonprofit group that is dedicated solely to the conservation and protection of the Texas Colorado River. They offer educational programs during the school year, and in the summer, they take families on guided tours of the LCRA Redbud Center. These tours are interactive, incredibly informative (Did you know all the lakes in Austin are man made?!), and FREE!

POSTPONED: Sound & Cinema: “E.T.” with Henry + the Invisibles

**THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO TUESDAY, JULY 22**

Sound & Cinema will continue on Tuesday, July 22 at the Long Center with a free screening of “E.T.” and a performance from Henry + the Invisibles. The fun starts around 6 pm and will continue until about 10:30 pm.

Austin Steam Train – REVIEW

The Austin Steam Train offers rides through the Hill Country year round in fully restored coaches dating back to the 1920s. Departing from Cedar Park, the train has various routes to choose from. Its most popular route this summer is a ride to Burnet County and back with a 15-minute stop off in the town of Bertram, where riders can walk through a fully restored 1912 train depot, complete with old typewriters and luggage from the era.
