Each fall we look forward to attending the Texas Book Festival — a celebration of authors, illustrators and readers! This year’s event will take place from Oct. 23 through Oct. 31 as a hybrid event with virtual sessions as well as limited capacity in-person events in downtown Austin. As usual, the Texas Book Festival includes a diverse lineup of literary talent for readers of all ages.

In-person children’s programming features select appearances by picture book authors on Oct. 30 in Symphony Square in downtown Austin. All events are free, but registration is required for in-person events and is available on a first come, first serve basis on the Texas Book Festival website.

Read on for the full line-up of children’s authors and illustrators.
