Come celebrate The Grandest Opening of the hip Cafe Ruckus and the re-opening of the legendary Toy Joy this Sunday, May 18 from 12 – 4 pm! Get your coffee fix at the newest caffeine peddler, then take yourself over to play with toys at the coolest toy store around.
You and your army of wind up toys can bust moves to DJ Digg and other local musicians. Grown folks can enjoy activities like latte art demonstrations, free samples from Cafe Ruckus and an hourly raffle for 2nd St. businesses. You could win freebies from awesome neighbors like La Condesa and Gamecloth.
As if giant bubble demonstrations and face painting weren’t enough to win the kiddos over, there will be Magical Unicorn Rides from Angeii Carriages starting at 2 pm. Wags and Licks Rescue, a non profit, will have adoptable pets as well if you are looking to add a furry family member.
