Bring the kids to a ecologically-inspired children’s play that helps celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the National Parks Service. The Man Who Planted Trees has become a favorite of audiences and schools around the world. This play, based on the book by Jean Giono, features puppetry to tell the tale of a French shepherd who sets out to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland acorn by acorn. This uplifting story highlights how one man (and his dog) can make a positive impact on the environment.

The Man Who Planted Trees is showing at the historic Paramount Theatre at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online here.
