The latest family musical from the Austin Scottish Rite Theater sounds like so much fun! The Town Musicians of Mumbai is an original Bollywood-inspired version of Grimms’ beloved Bremen Town Musicians. This show opens on Saturday April 2 and runs through Sunday, May 1 with weekend matinees.
When four loyal beasts become old and discarded, they set out to become famous musicians in the marvelous city of Mumbai. With live music from The Sacred Cowgirls (Austin’s own Bollywood swing band) and original Indian choreography and dance, this show will please one and all!
–> Tickets & Showtimes: You can see the show on Saturdays at 11 a.m. or Sundays at 1 p.m. from April 2 – May 1. Tickets are $8 for children and $15 for adults. You can purchase tickets online here.
As with all children’s plays at the historic Austin Scottish Rite Theater, kids will get to sit on carpets in the front by the stage, and parents can relax in the seats.
