Where to Find Fields of Sunflowers Around Austin

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm
14400 E. State Highway 29, Georgetown
Our kiddos love Sweet Eats Fruit Farm! They have tons of activities available for all ages like pony rides, pig races, a hay maze, pedal carts, a huge petting zoo, and more.

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm is hosting its 4th Annual Sunflower Festival in July, with the dates dependent on the weather.  Their best guess is July 1-7, but you can stay updated and purchase tickets here.   The festival features two separate sunflower fields where you can explore a 1.5-acre field featuring single stem non-branching yellow sunflowers that are 3ft – 14ft tall as well as a 4-acre field featuring more than 35 different varieties of multi-branching sunflowers with a wide range of color and height.  Inside the 4-acre main event field, there will be “no pick zones” for photos as well as sunflower rooms filled with photography props.

Cost: At the gate, tickets will be $23.95. Online tickets are available for $18.95.

Sweet Berry Farm
1801 FM 1980, Marble Falls
Sweet Berry Farm is a fruit-growing farm that offers loads of activities year-round — including springtime strawberry picking, tulip fields, hayrides, and a berry bounce. During the summer, the sunflowers here are gorgeous.   Please note:  the farm is closed on Wednesdays, and you can check their days and hours here before you go!

Cost: The admission fee is $5 and is free for children under the age of two.  You can pick your own for $2 per sunflower.

Wildseed Farms
100 Legacy Dr, Fredericksburg
Wildseed Farms is so worth the hour-and-a-half drive from Austin to Fredericksburg.  Not only are they the largest working wildflower farm in Texas, but they’re also home to an award-winning winery and Brewbonnet Biergarten, where you can have lunch, snacks, beer, and ice cream.  You can also purchase their sunflower seeds (and more) to plant yourself here.

Cost:  Free entry.  More info on visiting here.
