Summer 2020 Update: YMCA Camp Twin Lakes plans to move forward with day camps beginning on May 26. However, they will be postponing the opening of overnight camps until June 21. They are awaiting notice from the CDC and American Camp Association, as well as state and local officials, before finalizing all summer camp plans. Please stay tuned for more information on their Facebook and website

YMCA Camp Twin Lakes offers an action-packed, adventure-filled summer experience focused on the simple joys of being a kid. Campers will have fun swimming, hiking, slip-and-sliding, playing team sports and much more. Located on a 55-acre county park in Cedar Park, kids can enjoy a variety of both water and land activities every day.

You can enroll your kids and teens in week-long day camps or overnight camps. All are designed to help children and teens make friends, acquire new skills, develop values and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Campers can disconnect from the virtual world and connect with friends while exploring the nature trails, doing new activities and push their limits all while under the safe and supportive care of our trained counselors.

All activities at Camp Twin Lakes are led by trained staff members who always have your child’s well-being at heart. For example, all water sports are led by YMCA-certified lifeguards and trained support staff, while the high ropes course is supervised by our high-ropes-certified staff.

–> Day Camps: You’ll find new themes each week for day campers, available to kids in K-9th grades. Camps are held from 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. with additional hours available.

–> Overnight Camps: The Overnight Campers will enjoy 3 nutritious meals a day, cabins with restrooms, shower and A/C plus a fantastic covered porch. Overnight Camp Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end on Saturday morning. Need multiple weeks? Use the weekend stayovers.

–> Mini Overnight Camps: Perfect for campers who are new to the sleep-away experience, there’s a three day program for ages 6-13 that offers the ideal introduction to overnight camping.

With so many camps, and so many activities, you’ll want to visit the YMCA Camp Twin Lakes website to get all the details and register online. You can check out their Facebook page for photos and more to get your kids excited about summer camp.
