Live theatre can be such a powerful teaching tool. Characters on stage have the ability to tell emotional stories that resonate with audiences of all ages. In the latest bilingual family play from ZACH Theatre — in partnership with Teatro Vivo, Glass Half Full Theatre, and The Kindness Campaign — kids can have some fun watching creative storytelling and puppetry, while embracing some important lessons about kindness.

Las Adventuras de Enoughie: Un Cuento de Kindness, written and directed by Caroline Reck, opens on Friday, January 19 and runs through February 25, and will be presented at the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican Cultural Center. The show features The Kindness Campaign’s mascot, Enoughie, with his furry blue face and puffy antennae. He looks different than the other kids at school, so he doesn’t always feel like he fits in with everyone else. One day, Enoughie takes an incredible to journey to figure out who he is and how he does belong. Along the way, he learns the power of kindness and how to embrace the differences in us all.
