Today:

— Save money on children’s clothes, toys, and equipment at the Here We Grow Again Kids Consignment Sale at the Gateway Shopping Center. Shop til you drop until 7 pm today, from 10 am – 7 pm tomorrow and from 12 – 5 pm on Sunday, when many items will be 50 percent off!

Old Settler’s Music Festival kicked off last night and will continue throughout the weekend at Camp Ben MuCulloch and Salt Lick Pavilion. You can get passes for the day or for the weekend, as well as camping passes so you can set up shop for the whole fest. Ticket prices range from $35 – $530, more info here. Enjoy tons of live folk, bluegrass and Americana music while eating delicious food, drinking craft beer and letting the kids run loose in the Kids Area.

— Ages 5 – 12 are encouraged to wear white pajamas to the Pajama Glowga Party at The Little Yoga House from 6:30 – 8 pm. Kids will enjoy glow-in-the-dark yoga, games, relaxation and organic cookies and milk. Register online, $20 per child/$18 for siblings.

Tomorrow:

Art City Austin will take over Cesar Chavez St. between Guadalupe and Lamar Saturday from 10 am – 8 pm and Sunday from 11 am – 6 pm. Families can check out live music, artists, local food trailers, beer, cocktails, an Interactive Children’s Area, two stages of street performances and a lot more. Tickets are $12 for Saturday, $10 for Sunday, $15 for a weekend pass and children under 12 are FREE!

— Moms, bring your kids of any age to our FREE Workout at Castle Hill Studio (across from Castle Hill Fitness, behind the Conoco station) at 9 am. Get fit with Total Mommy Fitness founder, Tatum Rebelle, and stick around afterward for complimentary snacks from KIND and healthy juices from Daily Greens.

— Start your day off with a fun breakfast at the Cray Crepes and Sketchy Comic Book Super Brunch at the Superhuman Bean from 10 am – 2 pm. Eat some yummy crepes and drink delicious coffee while the kids create their very own comic book with the help of a comic book artist! AND, you can BYOBubbly, they’ll provide the OJ, and BAM! Mimosas.

Sunday:

— The 5th Annual Colorado River Ramble and Family Water Festival will be at Fiesta Gardens, at The Expedition School, from 9 am – 3 pm and will feature water races in SUP, canoes and kayaks for people of all ages! Kids can either ride tandem with an adult, or have fun in their own 1K race! During the races, the Family Water Festival will feature food, live music, water-conservation activities and more. There is a cost to race (register here), the fest is free.

The Stories of Frog and Toad continues at the Scottish Rite Theater with showtimes at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Read our review and see why it’s a great play for your young ones and an affordable, easy outing. Tickets are just $6 for kids and $9 for adults, and you can buy them here.

— The FREE Easter Egg Hunt at Abel’s North Grill and Tap House will have a petting zoo, the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, egg decorating, a bounce house, a firetruck and more, from 12 – 5 pm. Stick around for some yummy food from Abel’s afterward!
