It’s perfect picnic weather right now! Plan to take the kids to the gorgeous grounds of the French Legation Museum on Sunday, Mar. 29 for Edible Austin’s annual Children’s Picnic and Real Food Fair. This free event takes place from 1-5 p.m. and helps you find great ways to introduce your kids to healthy eating and living. You’ll find lots of activities, games, cooking demonstrations, food tastings, a planting garden, booths with local artisans and much more. Enjoy live music featuring Bob Appel and a cooking stage featuring Whole Foods Market, The Natural Epicurean and August Escoffier School of Culinary Arts for ideas on making healthy, family-friendly snacks.
