On Saturday, Apr. 25 you can the kids can go on an exciting adventure trekking through the city while learning about the importance of clean water. The Water Trotter Urban Challenge is a fun hunt for teams of two to navigate through the urban ecosystem of Austin’s Waller Creek Corridor exploring local neighborhoods, the Capitol and the University of Texas at Austin campus (covering approximately three miles). The challenge starts at 10 a.m. at Scholz Garten.

Participation in the event will help raise resources for Engineers Without Borders Austin Chapter to construct vital water infrastructure programs in Peru, Guatemala, and the local Austin area.

Each team will consist of two participants which can be an adult and a child or two adults. Click here to sign up to participate. You can take advantage of early bird registration that ends on Tuesday, Mar. 31.

Early Bird Rate / Normal Rate:

  • Parent and Child (13 & older): $30 / $40
  • All College Students: $30 / $40

  • Open to the public: $40 / $50
