Lightwire Theatre’s Dino-light! has been praised for its cutting edge blend of puppetry, technology, and dance audiences all over the world. They are back in Austin for two shows on Sunday, March 30 at 2 pm and at 4:30 pm at The Paramount Theatre.
Do512 Family Featured Babymaker, Trish Morrison from MomCom, has found an interesting way to keep your kids learning this summer. Created by local parents, Brain Chase is an exciting summer curriculum where kids read, write, do math problems and complete tasks in other subjects, all to help them get further in a virtual (and real) treasure hunt. It’s a very cool concept and we’re excited to hear about it!

In the name of good health and necessity, we beg you to purge! Do512 Family and Castle Hill Fitness have teamed up with Total Mommy Fitness to bring moms and their families a Free Workout Series! There are two upcoming dates where you can attend a free 45-minute workout followed by refreshments from KIND bars and juices from Skinny Limits. Our third class in the series will be Saturday, Mar. 29 at 9 am, and will be specifically for moms and their kids from ages 0 – 2. The class is free and an RSVP is appreciated but if you decide to come last minute, no worries, we’ll be there waiting for you!
This weekend is full of dogs performing circus feats, dinosaurs, trains, The Goonies and baseball. There’s a little something for everyone!

Round Rock Express is hosting a FREE day of family-friendly activities at Dell Diamond. Saturday, Mar. 22 from 10 am – 2 pm, Fan Fest will be in full swing at the ballpark. Fans will have the chance to run the bases, hit in the batting cage, clock their fastball with speed pitch, challenge the “Fun Zone” rock wall and inflatables and a lot more.
It’s that time to gather in the streets, parks, thrift stores and coffee shops to hear brass bands, marching bands and European Klezmer and Balkan music. HONK! TX is back! The free, community-driven festival is bringing more than 30 bands to venues throughout SoCo, Adams Park/Hemphill Park neighborhood and East Austin so that we all can get down to their fun music this weekend, Mar. 21 – 23.
The weather is just right right for a movie outside. This Friday, Mar. 21 at 8 pm head over to Whole Foods Market Downtown for Sunset Cinema: The Goonies!
