School is almost back in session! Del Valle ISD Back to School Event
Wednesday, August 5 | 5 pm – 7 pm | FREE
Stop by Del Valle ISD’s Back to School Event for free school supplies (while supplies last), community resources, and the opportunity to schedule medical and dental appointments with CommUnityCare Health Centers. Morning Glories: Back to School
Saturday, August 15 | 9 am | FREE
Head to Waterloo Park for Morning Glories: Back to School, a free morning packed with story time, art activities, line dancing, community partners, and a special visit from H E Buddy. Grab coffee, empanadas, or a frozen pop while the kids join in the fun! Get all the details here.
Fresh Start Back to School @ Travis County Sheriff’s Office
Sunday, August 16 | 2 pm – 3 pm | FREE while supplies last
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its Fresh Start Back to School drive through event. The first 100 K-12 students will receive free back to school supplies on a first come, first served basis. Just drive through the front parking lot, and deputies will bring everything right to your car.
Back to School Clothing Swap @ Austin Public Library Windsor Park Branch
Saturday, August 22 | 1 pm – 3 pm | FREE
Refresh your kids’ wardrobes without spending a dime at this free Back to School Clothing Swap. Bring clean, gently used clothes, shoes, backpacks, and accessories to trade for new to you finds. All ages are welcome, so the whole family can join in.
The Hive Welcome Back Celebration
Saturday, August 30 | 5 pm | FREE to attend
Kick off the new school year at The Hive Welcome Back Celebration with an evening of music, food, family fun, and community. Enjoy a family friendly DJ, kids’ activities, and opportunities to celebrate local educators while connecting with neighbors and learning about upcoming events and educational programs at The Hive.
