Does your child dream of being the next YouTube sensation? There’s a new local summer camp option that is a perfect fit! Camp YouTuber is Austin’s new summer day camp that teaches the fundamentals of video production and YouTube channel management so your child or teen can become a real YouTuber. Campers will create their own YouTube channel and then script, shoot, edit, publish, and promote their own videos. By the end of the week, each camper will have the skills to put them on the path to becoming a successful vlogger and the next big YouTube star.
One of the most exciting elements of this program is that it is led by Chad Johnson, a full-time YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers, along with seasoned camp organizers, the Fantastic Magic Camp. Chad is an Austin native and has been a full-time YouTuber for 6 years with his successful channel, OMGcraft. Chad has been in video production since 2010 working with companies such as Microsoft, AT&T, Google, YouTube, and Intel. He has been a producer, editor, camera man, and host. With Chad’s expertise of YouTube and Magic Camp’s years of experience running summer camps, Camp YouTuber will be a excellent summer experience.
