STEAM3 (an acronym for Science + Technology + Engineering + Art + Math “cubed,”) is a first-of-its-kind hybrid of a conference and Interactive Playground taking place on March 1 – 2 at the UT Commons Learning Center from 9 am to 6 pm each day. Appropriate for all ages, the event will feature speakers, workshops, demonstrations and an Interactive Playground. Our second class in the series will be Saturday, Mar. 1 at 9 am, and will be specifically for pregnant women, giving them a chance to connect with other moms-to-be in a fun class while offering exercises that are safe for you and your baby. The class is free and an RSVP is appreciated but if you decide to come last minute, no worries, we’ll be there waiting for you!

Looking for an inspirational event for your middle to high school aged daughters? Look no further than Imagine X2, a conference for young women. Taking place on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1 to 5 pm, at the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center, the free conference is “centered on the ideas of passionate intellectual development, ethics in the 21st century, and positive self-view.” The event was organized by two 17 year old girls with the express hope of inspiring other young girls to imagine their potential.
Metro Moms is a membership club that provides product resources and hosts events for expectant and new moms and their newborns. Their upcoming Must Haves event will be at Buca di Beppo on Wednesday, Feb, 26 from 7 pm-9 pm.
