Have your kids ever wanted to try aerial dance? Blue Lapis Light is an aerial dance company that uplifts and inspires students to reach new heights (literally). Aerial skills offer kids a great way to gain strength, flexibility and confidence. During workshops from Blue Lapis Light, kids work together to explore imaginative movements, while having a great time, too!
–> Children’s Summer Aerial Creation Camps
Children ages 7-12 can sign up for a week-long creative movement workshop this summer. They will learn aerial dance vocabulary, which builds to collaborative choreography. Together they will create a composition, and at the end of the week they will present this to their friends and family. Classes emphasize the importance of communication and safety while learning creative exploration. Camps are offered during the following weeks:
- June 8-12, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- June 15-19, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- June 22-26, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Camp enrollment costs $250/week, and you can learn more and register online here. Class will take place in Blue Lapis Light’s new studio located at 10331 Old Manchaca Rd.
