Let’s face it, shopping isn’t really on the kids’ list of fun activities. But IKEA wants to make sure children can have a good time when mom and dad stop into in their Round Rock store by offering free kids activities all summer long. Check out the scheduled events for June:

  • ikeaWednesday, June 10: Candy craft at 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 17: Balloon art/craft at 1 p.m.
  • Monday, June 22: Wiggle worm craft at 1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 24: Make your own play dough at 1 p.m.
  • Friday, June 26: Mad Hatter Tea Party at 2 p.m.
  • Monday, June 29: Paper craft at 1 p.m.

IKEA Round Rock also offers Småland, a free supervised children’s play area where you drop off your kids while you shop, if your child is between 37″ to 54″ and potty trained.

Also take note that kids eat free on Tuesdays! And during the month of June, for every kid’s meal purchased (any day of the week), IKEA will donate $1 towards Feeding America.
