Mark your calendar to attend a free safety event for families, hosted by Howdy Honda, on Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day. The Keeping Kids Safe Project is one of the top national child safety programs, and parents and kids of all ages are invited!

Each year in the United States, many children are reported missing. Of course this is a parent’s worst nightmare. But thankfully, some children are found within minutes or hours, and law enforcement officials all agree that photos and records are critical in the timing of a child’s recovery.

At this event, parents can prepare a child’s pre-made records for authorities, all free of charge.

The Keeping Kids Safe Project will take the child’s fingerprints and send them directly home with the parents. This, along with other safety information that is given out at the event, allows families to be as prepared as possible if an emergency arises, while also protecting their children’s privacy. This will be a fun event for kids, and also a great way for parents to approach what can be a difficult topic to discuss.
