This summer, your kids have an opportunity for exciting adventures with Natureversity Outdoor School where they can head into wild places exploring survival & nature-based skills, crafts, challenges, games, projects, and more. Natureversity Outdoor School Summer Camp takes place in East Austin along the beautiful Colorado River and includes river exploration, animal tracking, fire making, fort building, knife carving, archery, and fishing and more.

Choose from three different camps organized by age group:

Nature Explorers Camp, Ages 5 – 6,
Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Kids will climbing tree, build forts, make fires, play games and keep cool in the river. Each day participants get to explore the woods to find natural materials such as clay, rock paints, bark scraps, branches and leaves in order to create woodland art. Children can delight in being outside playing nature games, singing songs and sharing stories that reflect their adventures each day of camp. Learn much more about this camp!

Wild Adventure Camp, Ages 7 – 10
Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
In this camp, kids will answer questions such as: What’s safe to touch? What’s safe to eat? Where is the best place to play nature games? How do we stay cool in these hot summer months? Campers will be shown how to take care of themselves when it comes to outdoor travel. Things such as keeping up with their gear, keeping their space clean in the park, the importance of staying hydrated and how to not get lost.  Learn more about this camp!

Outdoor Survival Camp, Ages 9 – 12
Monday- Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
This exciting primitive skills camp goes beyond the basics and is all about experiencing life as a hunter-gatherer along the river from long ago. We will solve various tasks of day to day life back then such as constructing a natural shelter for a group, making fire through friction, locating and purifying water for drinking, and much more.
