The YMCA of Austin invites the entire community to join them for a Summer FUNtastic! They’ve planned family activities for the the whole season at all local YMCA locations. You can take part in over 50 FREE family events as well as Family Fun Days every weekend and expanded hours from June through August. Plus, the summer experiences are open to the entire community — you do not need to be a member to enjoy all of these good times. — Family Summer Picnic at Northwest YMCA
Sunday, June 26, 1 – 4pm
The Family Summer Picnic is an event for all ages. Hang out, play yard games, eat from delicious food trucks, and play in the pool. FREE and open to everyone in the community!

— Independence Family Scavenger Hunt at YMCA Camp Moody
Saturday, July 2, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Throw on your red, white, and blue for a family Independence themed scavenger hunt. After the hunt is over join us for a complimentary red, white, and blue snow cone, yard games, and rock climbing!. Prizes will be awarded for the most patriotic costume.

— Sunrise Trail Walk and Scavenger Hunt at Townlake YMCA
Sunday, July 10, 7 – 9 a.m.
Head over the the Townlake Center for a lake trail walk and nature scavenger hunt with prizes and giveaways. Free and open to all.

— Sunday Sports For All at Southwest Family YMCA
Sunday, July 17, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy an afternoon of sports for ALL abilities! There will be a variety of skill and sport stations set up, with inclusive and accessible options to meet every need. Bring your family and friends out and see how sports are truly for everyone.

— 15th Birthday Party at Hays’ Communities YMCA
Saturday, July 30
Help celebrate the Hays’ 15th birthday! There will be food, music, games, lots of activities at the outdoor pool, and of course birthday cake. FREE and open to the public.

— Back to School Block Party & Movie Night at North Austin YMCA
Friday, August 5, 5:30 – 10 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets out to the North Austin YMCA for a back-to-school block party and outdoor movie night with music, food, and games!

— Back to School Extravaganza at East Communities YMCA
Saturday, August 13, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  
The Y can help you get ready for the upcoming school year! Wrap up your summer at this big extravaganza with music, food, games, and free backpacks and school supplies (while they last).
