Do you have a young, creative storyteller in your home? If your child might enjoy writing and illustrating an original story, you can encourage them to enter the PBS KIDS Writers Contest 2015. Entries are being accepted now through March 31, 2015.
The PBS KIDS Writers Contest is a national Contest designed to promote the advancement of children’s reading skills through hands-on, active learning. Children in kindergarten through third grade will be encouraged to write and illustrate stories and submit them to Austin’s KLRU-TV, which will then select winners and award prizes in May 2015. Then the local winners will go on to a national level.
