Eeyore’s 51st Birthday Celebration

If the slogan “Keep Austin Weird” had its own festival, Eeyore’s Birthday would be it. Get weird at Pease Park on Saturday, Apr. 26 from 11 am until dark, the children’s area will be open from 11 am – 4 pm and live music from noon – 6 pm. Admission is FREE! Dress code will be Austin-formal: tutus, bikinis, fairy wings and flip flops. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest. Props: hula hoops, bubbles and flower garlands.

Monster Jam comes to Austin this weekend for the first time ever! All the cool girls and car crazy boys are in for what will probably be the best moment of heir young lives ever. Austin Parks: The Triangle

Cue choirs of angels: there’s a new playground at the Triangle. This mixed-use development in Central Austin has long been a favorite destination for families and this is the icing on the cake. The playground is located near the big grassy field, across the street from Snap Kitchen and next to Maudie’s. It’s on the smaller side, geared toward younger children.

Theatre is so magical, and Zach Scott’s production of Pinocchio is nothing short of that.
