Valentines Day Escape, happens on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Dittmar Recreation Center. Parents can watch a romantic movie in the park while kids have all kinds of kid fun inside the gym.

Head to the Millie & Mox Children’s Boutique on Friday, Feb. 14 at 3:30 pm for their Valentine’s Day Party and Sale. The Nano Exhibit at the Austin Nature and Science Center is an interactive experience for you and your family. Head to the ANSC anytime from now until June 10 and learn all about what nano means for you. This exhibit is, of course, free, as are all of the activities at the ANSC.
When I heard that Little Red Chunari was being performed at the Scottish Rite Theater, I knew I had to go. I love Little Red… wait, what’s a chunari? (It’s similar to Red’s hood)
An Indian adaptation of the classic Riding Hood tale, Little Red Chunari is an awesome multi-sensory experience that is enjoyable for both adults and children. As you enter the theater, the air is already perfumed with incense helping to set the mood. The performance is full of rich sensory layers, from the beautiful and detailed costumes to the integration of Hindi into the dialogue.

Let your kids clown around during spring break at the Sky Candy Spring Break Camp for kids and youth at Sky Candy Aerial and Circus Arts Studio. The kids group (ages 6 – 9) meets each day from 9 am – 12 (with optional aftercare) and the youth group (ages 10 –14) runs from 9 am – 3 pm. Kids get a taste of theater, circus and aerial arts, culminating in a show at the studio for both groups on Saturday, March 15 at 11 am.
