Make plans to pick flowers and enjoy tons of entertainment at Barton Hill Farms, one of our favorite spots for a picture-perfect outdoor fun day! There is an activity for everyone in the whole family on this beautiful farm in Bastrop. Visit adorable animals, pick flowers, listen to live music, hop aboard mini trains and hayrides, watch lots of live entertainment, play tons of games, and experience a full day’s worth of enjoyment in the country.

Mark your calendar for Blooms & Brews, May 14 – 28, 2022,  10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Pick perfect flowers for a U-cut bouquets from the vibrant flower fields full of zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, lupines and more. Then, stop by the Hugel Biergarten for a local beer or cider!
Please note that the last day of this year’s festival has been changed to Saturday, May 28.

Treat the kids to a fun day out with 30+ Activities!  There are truly so many things to do at Barton Hill Farms. There’s honestly something to appeal to the youngest kiddos, to teens, grandparents, and all ages! Kids will have a blast with:

Enjoy live entertainment! The kids are sure to love the Milk Cow Classroom where they can learn about the nutritional value of milk, where it comes from, and the dairy producers that work behind the scenes! There’s also an exciting rotation of other shows and acts, including the Old West Gun Show and more! And there will be live music every weekend, too!

Not just for kiddos — the festival offers great times for parents, too. Those ages 21+ can stop by the Apfelwein & Biergarten, situated on a peaceful spot overlooking the Colorado River, where you can order from a selection of craft beers and ciders on tap from local breweries.

Barton Hill Farms has multiple dining and drinking options, including menu items to appeal to kids and grown-ups alike such as chicken tenders, pizza, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches. And what festival is complete without a funnel cake?!

Tickets & More Info: Weekend open hours run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Blooms & Brews Festival takes place through Saturday, May 28 . Early bird tickets are $16.95 for adults and children ages 3 and older and should be purchased in advance online here.
