Here at Do512 Family, we love a good kid-friendly festival. We’re big fans of live music, crafts, face painting, puppet shows, storytimes, and more! So when we heard about Squirrel Fest, an all-new event to take place in Pease Park, we jumped at the chance to get involved! Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and plan to join us for a day of movies, music and fun on April 9 from 4 – 10 p.m.

Squirrel Fest, presented by H-E-B and hosted by Pease Park Conservancy, is free and open to all and promises to be a great time! In addition to having a fun day in one of Austin’s most amazing parks, your family can enjoy:

  • Live Music from the MeowNow Brass Band who will travel through the park to entertain you.
  • Frida Friday Marketplace, Austin’s largest intentionally intersectional, cultural, traveling market space that features BIPOC, Queer, and emerging artists.
  • Movie Screening on the Great Lawn featuring Zootopia at 8 p.m.
