Ahhh, January in Austin. Must be time for…summer camp? Really? Already?
We know it feels like overachieving – and no one wants that – but amazingly enough it’s time to start planning for summer. Gotta keep those kiddos busy throughout the blistering dog days and the competition to enlist, er, we mean, enroll them can be fierce.
This Sunday, Jan. 26, head over to the Palmer Events Center for the FREE Austin Family Presents: Summer Camp Fair from 12 – 4 pm. Reps from more than 100 camps around Austin and throughout the state will be on hand amidst live entertainment, face painting, snowboarding and a bounce house. Parents get a chance to chat with camp owners and counselors while the kids romp around. Camps for kids ages 4 to 18 will be represented.
Admission is free and some attendees will be lucky enough to win admission to one of the following 18 camps that will be given away during the event:
