Tiny Regatta: Second Saturdays at Laguna Gloria

Second Saturdays are for families at Laguna Gloria with hands-on art-making activities inspired by the current exhibitions on view. From 11 AM – 3 PM kids ages 2 – 11 can enjoy family-friendly performances, meet artists, and even make their own works of art to take home. This Second Saturday the Tiny Regatta is inspired by artist Orly Genger’s seaworthy materials.

Mother Earth Day Festival at The Springs

Grand Opening- Luci and Ian Family Garden

The eagerly awaited grand opening of the Luci and Ian Family Garden at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center will take place this Sunday, May 4 from 10 am – 7 pm. There will be a garden discovery quest, special activities throughout the day and live performance by local Austin musicians.

Get weird at Pease Park on Saturday, Apr. 26 from 11 am until dark, the children’s area will be open from 11 am – 4 pm and live music from noon – 6 pm. Admission is FREE! Dress code will be Austin-formal: tutus, bikinis, fairy wings and flip flops. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest. Props: hula hoops, bubbles and flower garlands.
