Crumbl is for when you want a cookie that’s basically an entire dessert. The menu changes weekly, with a rotating lineup of oversized cookies and increasingly elaborate flavors. Half the fun is checking what they came up with this week and deciding which ones are actually worth ordering.

Sometimes you need a cookie at a completely unreasonable hour, and that is where Insomnia earns its place on this list. Order warm cookies for pickup or delivery, stick with the classics, or turn one into an ice cream sandwich when a regular cookie simply isn’t enough.
1515 W 35th St Building C
Tiny’s chocolate chip cookie has a bit of a cult following in Austin, and for good reason. Stop by the little walk-up window on 35th for warm cookies, pastries, coffee, and ice cream. This is one of those places where saying you’re “just grabbing one cookie” rarely works out.

Come here when the cookie needs to be as cute as it is edible. HayleyCakes is known for elaborately decorated sugar cookies in basically every theme imaginable, making it an especially good stop for birthdays, holidays, teacher gifts, or just bringing home something your kids will lose their minds over.

We probably don’t need to explain Tiff’s Treats to anyone who has lived in Austin for more than five minutes. Warm cookie delivery started right here in Austin, and it’s still one of our favorite easy ways to send someone a little love or make a random Tuesday significantly better.

SuzieCakes is well known for its cupcakes, cakes, and cookies. A new location is opening soon in Austin, which will give us yet another location to snag Suzie’s famous whoopee pies, chocolate chip cookies, and flourless peanut butter cookies. Check Suzie’s full menu here.

Rockman is doing cookies a little differently, which is exactly why we like it. Pastry chef Amanda Rockman’s East Austin bakery turns out creations like sourdough chocolate chip, corn marshmallow, and oat crack cookies alongside an ever-changing lineup of pastries. Go hungry and absolutely do not pretend you’re only getting a cookie.
