There’s a brand-new entertainment destination in Hutto, just outside Round Rock, and it’s packed with ways to keep the entire family smiling. Hooky Hutto is a one-stop shop, offering a dine-in movie theater, bowling alley, arcade, prize counter, and more.

We caught a showing of the latest Jurassic Park movie and were impressed by the setup. The dine-in theater features cozy seating and a seamless ordering experience — just scan the QR code at your seat, and food, snacks, or drinks (including cocktails, beer, and wine) get delivered straight to you. We sampled the Detroit‑style cheese pizza, fried mozzarella, and a barbecue cheeseburger, and each bite was a hit. We also enjoyed the unlimited popcorn and sodas for the kids, and the adults enjoyed a Marquee Marg and an Espresso Martini.

The arcade is gleaming fresh and full of games that entertained the kids (and had them racking up tickets) for over an hour.

For Summer 2025: Kid-friendly Movie Monday Magic screenings, just $1 per ticket! It’s a fantastic way to enjoy a classic kids’ film without breaking the bank. They also have $5 movie Tuesdays, all day long.
