Show Dad a great time on Father’s Day! Here’s some ideas on where to go, what to do, where to play, picnic and more. But of course, don’t forget the most important thing — show Dad how much you care.
Father’s Day Family Events on Sunday, June 21:
— Enjoy an evening of music under the stars at Zilker Hillside Theatre when the Austin Symphonic Band celebrates Dad with an annual Father’s Day Concert featuring marches, patriotic melodies, and other familiar works. 7:30 p.m. Free!
— Hit a home run with Father’s Day fun! Take Dad out to the Dell Diamond for the Round Rock Express vs. Iowa Cubs baseball game at 7:05 p.m. Check out the variety of seating and ticket options here.
— Austin Symphony Orchestra is presenting a summer concert in front of the Long Center City Terrace as part of their summer series. You and the family can attend the Hartman Foundation Concerts in the Park at 7:30 p.m. featuring Big Band music. Free!
— Make a big splash on Sunday when Dads and Grandfathers can get in free to Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park in Pflugerville when accompanied by a child with a day ticket or season pass. You will also need to show a “Dads Free” coupon, which can be downloaded here. This offer is good from Sunday, June 21 through Friday, June 26!
— Enjoy a Father’s Day Special at Safari Champ in Round Rock. Stop in for some extra special Daddy Care while the kids play. $3 admission per child all day (Dads are always free). Dads can get a free protein shake and enter to win a gift card to Jack Allen’s Kitchen.
Fun at Blazer Tag
— For the playful Papas who wants to run around with the kids and play, Blazer Tag is offering $5.50 laser tag games for Dads all day on Sunday, June 21.
— Cool down on the ice rink at Chaparral Ice for the Free Father’s Day Special. Dads skate free with any full-price paid admission from noon – 4 p.m.
— Lace up those roller skates because Dad’s Skate for Free on Sunday at Playland Skate Center from noon – 5 p.m. with the purchase of a child’s admission ($8).
— There’s a lot of fun for fathers at Rockpointe Church from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Dads Gone Wild Car & Motorcycle Show. Free admission and breakfast, outdoor activities, a bounce house for kids and prizes.
— Clown around with Daddy at a Bonzo Crunch Show at the Austin Public Library Faulk Central Branch at 2 p.m. Bonzo Crunch will thrill with a show that includes music, eccentric juggling, and audience participation style magic. Free!
