Before you make a shopping trip for new school clothes for the kids, why not swap your outgrown items for some that are new to you? On Saturday, August 1, you can head over to North Austin’s 4th Annual Back to School Clothes Swap from 9 a.m. – noon, held at Crestview United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome at this free event.
Here’s how it works:
1. Bring what you can: infant, youth to adult clothing in good condition, including back-to-school items like backpacks.
2. Take what you need.
3. Leftover items will be donated to FreeStore Austin.
Please presort items by type/size. When you arrive, clothes will be distributed to marked tables, then you can shop! Remember to bring your own bags.
