We’re ready for some star spangled fun with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day. Now we just have to pick and choose which of these awesome events to attend! Here’s a round-up of 4th of July Events in the Austin area.

— Bastrop Patriotic Festival @ Fisherman’s Park
June 29 & 30
This patriotic two-day event will begin on Friday evening with the 5K Run followed by a Street Dance & live music. On Saturday, the fun kicks off at 10 a.m. at Fisherman’s Park with the pet and pal parade, a petting zoo, sand volleyball, children’s activities, kid fish, a water wonderland, washer tournament, bingo, and many other fun contests during the day – plus a patriotic surprise or two! — Volente Beach Dinner & Fireworks Show @ Beachside Billy’s
Dinner from 6-8 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.
Get tickets for a VIP buffet dinner ($29/adult and $22/child) that includes entrance to the water park, a live DJ and great view of the fireworks show. Click here for more info & to make reservations.
— Round Rock Express Independence Day Celebration @ Dell Diamond
game starts at 7:05 p.m.
Celebrate the U.S.A. at Dell Diamond with a spectacular postgame fireworks show. Lawn ticket start at $7, which you can purchase online here.

— Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks @ Vic Mathias Shores
Concert starts at 8:30 p.m., fireworks start at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Head out in your patriotic ensemble for this annual Austin Tradition. Free fireworks, free live performance by the Austin Symphony, great food and drinks, and a variety of local Arts & Crafts vendors. FREE admission. Click here for more info, including parking suggestions.
— Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Celebration @ Hill Country Galleria
Activities begin at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Visitors can expect art vendors, festival food and treats, and face painting and more for the kids, and an all-day sidewalk sale. Live music from Vallejo. FREE admission and parking.
— Wells Branch FourthFest @ Katherine Fleicher Park
Activities & entertainment from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
A parade starts at the Park at 10 a.m. When the parade returns, an afternoon of music, food from local restaurants, and activities for the kids around Katherine Fleischer Park. The Katherine Fleischer pool will be open and free to the public as well. For more info, click here.
— Round Rock Frontier Days Festival & Fireworks @ Old Settlers Park
Parade at 10 a.m., Frontier Days Festival opens at 12 p.m., fireworks at dark
Enjoy a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park and skydivers as part of the City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration. Independence Day festivities will begin with free watermelon at the Lakeview Pavilion and include music from the Austin Symphonic Band. Free event! Click here for more info.
— Cedar Park 4th of July Parade & Celebration @ Elizabeth Milburn Park
Parade at 10 a.m., celebration starts at 5 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Parade will begin at Cedar Park Center, traveling down Discovery Blvd. to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with live music, bingo, a washer tournament, air castles, free watermelon and a fireworks display. Fees apply for food concessions, face painting, and carnival games and rides and admission to Milburn Pool, which is open from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Click here for more info.
— Georgetown’s Sertoma 4th of July Celebration @ San Gabriel Park
Activities begin at 11 a.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
The festivities include over 60 arts and craft booths, food vendors, kiddie rides, bounce houses, games, and a petting zoo. Musical entertainment will begin at the Gazebo at noon and will continue all day. A parade begins at 11 a.m. at the low water crossing on Morrow St., ending at the Gazebo. Click here for more info.
— Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival @ The Pfield
Activities begin at 5 p.m., concert at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9: p.m,

— Leander Liberty Fest @ ACC San Gabriel Campus
Gates open at 3 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.,
This free admission, family-friendly event includes live music, food and craft vendors, children’s activities, and a spectacular fireworks display. Kids Zone wristbands will be available onsite for $10 each. ATM machines will also be onsite. Take note that the fireworks will be launched from the Capital Metro Leander Station so that station will be closed July 4. Click here for more info.
— Bob Schneider’s 4th of July Bash & Fireworks @ Nutty Brown Amphitheatre
6 p.m. doors, ends at 11 p.m.
Bob Schneider is back for his annual 4th of July Bash with a spectacular fireworks show! Tickets start at $20 for general admission (all ages), and can be purchased online here.
— Red, White & Buda @ various locations in Buda, TX
Parade at 9 a.m., activities from 5-10 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Decorate your bike, wagon, scooter or stroller and line up at 8:30 a.m. for the for the parade on Main Street. At 5 p.m., you can head to the Buda Sportsplex for food, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show! Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM. Free! Click here for more info.
— New Braunfels Fourth of July @ Landa Park
parade at 9:15 a.m., music at 6:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
The Patriotic Parade starts at 9:15 a.m on the Main Plaza, Downtown. At 6:30 p.m. a music program starts in Landa Park, followed by fireworks.
