Camp EDMO® is back in Austin for a second year of their fun summer camp program that focuses on science, technology, art and maker activities with a social emotional learning twist. Students in Pre-K through 8th grade will enjoy this program that’s built to unleash a child’s inner scientist, artist, or coder. With 3 Austin locations and 22 STEAM themes to choose from, there are plenty of options for campers to learn, explore, and grow all summer long.

Camp EDMO is offered at three different locations, serving South, East and Northwest communities:

  • Northwest – Concordia University Texas, 11400 Concordia University Dr, Austin, TX 78726
  • South – St. Ignatius Martyr School, 120 W Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704
  • East – Location TBD

Each day at Camp EDMO, curiosity is celebrated! Campers rotate between experiential projects based on their chosen theme, activities that get their bodies moving (think stretching, silly dance moves, and games), and social emotional learning (SEL) exercises designed to help them build connections and develop critical life skills like empathy and problem solving. EDMO staff help campers collaborate on coding projects and growing friendships, practicing mindfulness and yoga poses, and building rocket ships and self-confidence — all with a healthy dose of silliness!‍

Camps run run from June 6 – August 5, 2022. Visit edmo.org/austin to learn much more about the location sites, the camp themes offered — and to register now.
