Imagine X2 Conference for Young Women

Looking for an inspirational event for your middle to high school aged daughters? Look no further than Imagine X2a conference for young women. Taking place on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1 to 5 pm, at the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center, the free conference is “centered on the ideas of passionate intellectual development, ethics in the 21st century, and positive self-view.”  The event was organized by two 17 year old girls with the express hope of inspiring other young girls to imagine their potential.

Sherwood Forest Faire – Review

Despite having lived in the hill country for years, I’ve never been to one of the period festivals held in this area every year. This past weekend I had a chance to bring my family out to the Sherwood Forest Faire and it was awesome.
