The Best Kids’ Menus in Austin

Not every great kids’ menu has to mean basic fare. This list highlights both standout kids’ menus and solid Austin spots that adults genuinely enjoy, but that also shine for families thanks to fun atmospheres, flexible options, and surprisingly kid-approved dishes everyone at the table can feel good about.

Soupleaf Hot Pot via Yelp

Soupleaf Hot Pot
Our kids love Soupleaf Hot Pot, and we love that there’s special pricing for kids under 10 for this delicious, all-you-can-eat buffet-style restaurant. Soupleaf Hot Pot has so many options for broth, a buffet of fresh choices of veggies, noodles, seafood, and meat, so that each member of your family can make a soup uniquely for them. Maki Sushi via Yelp

Machi Sushi
Machi Sushi is a newer spot in Austin that’s quickly become a hit with families thanks to its all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi and surprisingly kid-friendly vibe. Even when it’s packed, reservations make it easy to plan ahead, and the small-plate format is perfect for kids who want to try a little bit of everything without the pressure. Ours loved the hibachi steak, fried rice, edamame, and miso soup, while the adults went for the nigiri and yakitori. The lively atmosphere, plus boba on the menu, makes it feel like a fun night out that still works with kids in tow.

The Grove Wine Bar + Kitchen
Wine tastings, an excellent variety of food, and a cozy ambiance make The Grove Wine Bar + Kitchen a great upscale family restaurant. Find which of their four Austin locations is closest to you and check out their excellent kids’ menu. (Priced from $6-8, depending on what your child chooses).

Ciclo at The Four Seasons
Upscale hotels do such a great job for kids (and often pets), and Ciclo at The Four Seasons is no exception. Ciclo’s kids’ menu has a wide range, from mac and cheese with broccoli to a grilled 4-oz filet with sides. They also have creative kid-friendly desserts, coloring supplies, and a hammock and lawn games if the kids get antsy.

Toss Pizzeria
Both of their Austin locations are family-friendly with patios, yard games, and a full bar for the grown-ups. Not a dedicated kids’ menu, but tons of pizza options (including gluten-free), chicken tenders, queso, and more dual-appetizing options for the fam. Check out more of our favorite pizza options in Austin here.

True Food Kitchen
True Food Kitchen is a great go-to when you want something a little healthier that still works for the whole family. The kids’ menu has thoughtful options (think a teriyaki bowl, cheeseburger, or air friend chicken tenders), plus plenty of choices for different dietary needs, which makes it an easy pick when everyone wants something different. You’ll find Austin locations at The Domain and in the Seaholm District.

North Italia
With two locations and a kids’ menu starting around $10, North Italia is always a hit with our families. Their handmade Italian food is excellent, and so are the drinks. Make the splurge for the white truffle garlic bread. You won’t regret it! Austin locations are The Domain and 2nd Street.

  1. We just ate at Juliet for my birthday and they had a great kid’s menu. Nothing to entertain them, though. It’s BYOColoring supplies!
