We are positively thrilled to dive “Under the Sea” with Zilker Theatre Productions this summer as they present Disney’s The Little Mermaid! This year marks the 61st anniversary of the Zilker Summer Musical! Attending these shows is an Austin tradition that we hold dear. It’s always fun to spend a night out with the kids enjoying a picnic, cuddling on a blanket, and watching a big Broadway musical under the stars in Zilker Park — no tickets required! This year, audiences of all ages are in for a special musical production based on Disney’s classic 1989 film starring Ariel, Eric, Scuttle, Flounder, and of course Ursula. You can catch a performance every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:15 p.m. on the Zilker Hillside Theater through August 17.
Mark Your Calendar: Every Saturday evening at 7 p.m., you can partake in the Guppy Groove, where kids of all ages are invited on stage to meet actors from The Zilker Summer Musical, learn some choreography, take a bow on the big stage!
