The CASA Superhero Run is an amazing experience for kids and grownups, alike. Race day features the annual superhero costume contest, an obstacle course to test your super strength and agility, special superhero guest appearances, villains to defeat, bounce houses, tasty food, amazing photo ops, and lots of fun family activities.

CASA speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering the community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. The CASA Superhero Run helps nearly 2,700 children through the CASA programs serving Travis, Williamson, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe & Hays Counties.

Superman was adopted. Spiderman was raised by his aunt and uncle. Batman grew up with his butler, Alfred, and later took in Robin to raise as his ward. Wonder Woman was made out of clay by Amazons and brought to life by the gods. Few superheroes grew up in a typical family situation raised by their own parents, yet they all accomplished great things as adults. CASA, a nonprofit that advocates for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect, believes all children deserve the chance to grow up happy and healthy and become superhero adults themselves.

Not a runner? No problem! Not all of us at Do512 Family are runners ourselves, but we participate every year and have the best time. It’s totally fine to walk or jog the course. If you can’t be present at the event, you can donate and be a superhero from afar.

In addition to a superhero-themed 5K and Kids Fun Run, the event also includes plenty of exciting activities during the festival that runs until 11 am.  Click here to view the full schedule of events.  Tickets for the festival are $10 (for kids over 12) for those not participating in a race.

Register today! Click here to sign your family up to participate!

If you cannot make it to the event but would still love to help, please donate here. To learn more about the CASA Superhero Run as well as CASA’s impact on children in Central Texas, please visit www.casasuperherorun.com.
