The Austin Public Library and Literature Live! invite families to experience The Shoemaker and the Elves like you’ve never seen it before! “Follow the Elves” is a new, multimedia event featuring a 4-part video web series paired with family gatherings at the library with stories, crafts, and a chance to play with the elves. This winter, you can find a new video each Wednesday on the Literature Live! website, and follow the elves to several local libraries for related fun. “Follow the Elves” is free, open to the public and recommended for ages 4 and up.
A cold, lonely winter seems the fate of a poor shoemaker and his wife, until the magic of the season intervenes. Watch a trailer for the show below:
