What To Do Over Labor Day Weekend:
Enjoy a free outdoor concert. The City of Round Rock is hosting a free Labor Day Concert at Prete Plaza in downtown Round Rock on Sunday, September 1 featuring Sammy’s Satin Sounds and The Bell Tower for a night of Jazz and blues. Try a new yoga class. Labor Day in Austin means it’s time for the annual Free Day of Yoga! Each participating studio has its reservation process and amenities, so please check the individual studio’s website to know what to bring. Enjoy a FREE visit and hands-on activities at The Bullock Museum. It’s H-E-B Free First Sunday, Texas Wildlife edition this Sunday, September 1. Activities are from 10 am – 2 pm, and all three floors of the museum will be open during that time. Some of the special activities include a make-your-own bird’s nest craft, interactive STEM with Girlstart, making pollinator seed balls, and more. Check out all the details here.

Go on a last-minute camping trip. Or simply pitch a tent in your backyard for something super easy but out of the ordinary for the kiddos!
Take a tour of outdoor art. From amazing murals to giant sculptures, Austin has a beautiful assortment of public art that you can enjoy.
